The movie Flashdance inspired my dance journey years before I was ever interested in dancing. I loved the passion the character Alex had, and the final dance inspired me through the years because of its effortless movement, fun, technique, and genuine love for dance. The 80's also had some of the best dance music, and who wouldn't want to do a concept based on that era!
